Starlight Moon Custom Outdoor Kitchen & Living Area Overview

The Starlight Moon outdoor kitchen & living area owners won’t need to travel far to experience luxurious lounging and diverse cuisine. They have it all wrapped up inside their private little stay-cation destination, and it’s an exclusive retreat, accessible to only a select few. At least this is the feeling that you have to imagine these happy clients must be having after seeing the completed project. The outdoor kitchen & living area was designed and constructed by Custom Outdoor Living of Las Vegas, Nevada, and we are delighted with the outcome of the Starlight Moon project, and so are the clients.

The Custom Outdoor Kitchen Area

For this project, there are two outdoor living areas separated by a lavish custom swimming pool designed by Watters Aquatech (they did a fantastic job on this custom swimming pool.) We installed a Duralum Lattice Patio Cover, which is attached to the residence. We added slate facia to cover the lattice patio cover tube ends, giving the structure a more seamless and integrated look. The Duralum Lattice Patio Cover will provide ample UV shelter for the grillmaster, allowing them total focus when masterfully creating their next culinary masterpiece, or when grilling up some hot dogs for the family. The Lattice Patio Cover design blocks roughly 60-70% of the UV sun rays while allowing natural light and ventilation to occur. It’s the perfect patio cover design for implementation over an outdoor kitchen area.

The Outdoor Kitchen is a U-shape design with a flanking Media Wall. This gorgeous Custom Outdoor Living kitchen perfectly contrasts the surrounding elements due to its use of Thermory Ash Cladding as the exterior facia finish. The Statuario Extra Honed Porcelain Countertops brings this custom outdoor kitchen into modernity. The Statuario countertop slab has a 4″ thickness. The Media Wall finished with an Arctic White 3D Honed Stacked Stone, a match made in design heaven when paired with the Statuario Porcelain Countertops.

The Outdoor Kitchen Components

We installed a combination of outdoor kitchen components from Coyote Outdoor Living and PCM. The barbecue grill is a Coyote 36″ S-Series Built-in Grill Head. You’ll also find a 24″ Refrigerator and sink manufactured by Coyote. We included a 36″ access door & drawer combo unit, 17×24 access door, and a trash/recycle unit from PCM.

Secondary Social Area w/ Media Wall & Outdoor Fireplace

The second area within the overall outdoor living environment was designed with comfort and relaxation in mind. This area is where family and friends can converse and relax, enjoying each other’s company while watching TV and warming up during the colder Winter months. Custom Outdoor Living designed and constructed a secondary Media Wall. This one has a slight variation, though; it includes a custom outdoor fireplace.
